The South African Sommeliers Association (SASA) and the Chenin Blanc Association cordially invite you to an exclusive Loire Chenin Blanc Masterclass on the 28th of June, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Join us at Culture Wine Bar on Bree Street in Cape Town for an extraordinary wine-tasting experience.


Hosted by the esteemed Ina Smith, a pioneer of Chenin Blanc in the South African wine industry, this masterclass promises to be an enlightening and immersive journey into the world of Loire Chenin Blanc. Ina's vast knowledge and passion for Chenin Blanc will captivate your senses as you explore the nuances, flavors, and stories behind this exceptional wine.


Co-presenting will be Shawn Mathyse, the winemaker at Ken Forrester Wines. He has s been immersing himself in tasting Loire Chenin for the past few years and will also be working at Domaine du Closel in Savennieres this September.
